Parent Testimonials

While at PCA our kids had the opportunity to go on two mission trips. First to Dominican Republic and second to Bolivia. The experiences they had were valuable and eye-opening!  They were challenged as they learned to work as a team, to watch out for one another, to be flexible.  They put aside the comforts of home and experienced environments that made them realize that happiness and contentment is more in your attitude than in your surroundings. Seeing firsthand how things we take for granted are extremely valuable to others somewhere else. They learned that there are differences in how people in other parts of the world view THEM!  They had great adventures, saw and did things that not many get to experience. They came home wanting to go again.  They came home knowing that they are capable of giving more of themselves and that love and kindness IS a universal language. These mission trips not only provide much-needed help to others but they also provide opportunities for our young people to step outside of themselves, to realize how much more they are capable of doing, that no matter how big or small the act, seen or unseen, helping others brings a joy and fulfillment you can't get any other way.
