Jupiter Ed
Palisades Christian Academy uses “Jupiter” as our learning management system. Using Jupiter, you can access students’ grades, receive emergency alerts on your phones, and communicate with teachers. Jupiter can also be utilized for assignments, testing, and automatically sending weekly grade reports.
Staff members can by emailed through Jupiter, and important information about student behavior and academic performance will be communicated from the school. Please login to Jupiter at least once a week to monitor students’ grades. You can also elect to get automatically generated reports once a week. It is not recommended to elect to receive these reports daily, as the information can become overwhelming, and make is more likely that important information will be missed.
Students are also provided access to their Jupiter accounts, and when developmentally ready are encouraged to monitor their grades, attendance, and access teacher assigned work.
How to Access Jupiter
Students retain the same login information at Palisades Christian Academy from one year to the next. Passwords will not change, unless requested. If a password is forgotten, or you are having trouble logging in, please contact your child’s classroom teacher to resolve the issue. New students will be sent an email from their homeroom teacher that will contain a link for signing into a new account.
Steps to Sign-Up for Emergency Text Alerts
VERY IMPORTANT: IF THERE WAS EVER AN EMERGENCY AT THE SCHOOL, WE WOULD LIKE ALL PARENTS TO RECEIVE A TEXT MESSAGE NOTIFICATION. PLEASE FOLLOW THESE FOUR EASY STEPS:
1. LOG INTO YOUR JUPUTER ACCOUNT.
2. UNDER THE "SETTINGS" TAB, SEE THE "NOTIFICATIONS" BOX. (If logging in through your phone, settings will appear if you click on the 4 lines within the turquoise circle at the top, right-hand of the screen)
3. UNDER "EMERGENCY ALERTs", PLEASE CHECK THE “TEXT MSG” BOX.
4. CLICK ON "DONE" TO SAVE.
